Is your drug and alcohol use getting out of hand?
Are you afraid you’re losing control?
Do you wish you could have more control or stop using altogether, but need help?
Our coaching service can help by teaching you basic principles and tools to make positive changes. Additionally, you will gain insight into what occurs within you and in your life that may contribute to the loss of control. These are the key components that provide our service with good feedback from those who have completed the program. This structured, fee-based program is designed to support meaningful and lasting progress.
Many individuals we coached found better control and happiness in all spheres of their life. Gaining more control over drugs, alcohol, and life can be achieved.
Most counselling services, online or otherwise, mostly entail listening to evaluate the person and their life situation. It permits the addiction counsellor to draw conclusions and then enlighten the person about their evaluation.
Our concept is different.
We tutor individuals and guide them through simple and applicable information that helps them understand the barriers and obstacles to recovery.
The recovery coach is there to help the person understand and apply the knowledge in everyday life; they do not evaluate the person, nor do they evaluate a problem for them. The individual comes to their own conclusion by reading and understanding the materials as they apply to their life.
These unique tools learnt offer life skills applicable to everyday life to achieve personal control over substance abuse. It is educational in structure and applies to any life situation, not only substance abuse.
One goal is to make the individual aware of how the world around them affects them and how they, in turn, affect their environment. Another goal is to increase the person’s ability to achieve control, by choice, over drugs or alcohol consumption. The sessions take place through secure video conferencing with a regular schedule.
Some people can have limited time. Perhaps they cannot leave their occupation for an extended period to attend residential treatment. Or they may find it difficult to attend outpatient one-on-one or group counselling.
Our Online Addiction Recovery Coaching program is available from the comfort of your own home at a scheduled time from your computer.
This service is not for everyone. Usually, it would be for someone with a mild or light substance addiction problem.
The person first undergoes an assessment to determine the level of addiction and care needed. The coach then accepts the applicant for service and receives payment. Or will suggest a treatment program in Canada if the applicant is not qualified.
